Students should activate the following three accounts:
- MultiPass/E-Mail Account:
To activate and start using your Mines E-Mail account (and MultiPass) go to
http://newuser.mines.edu/email/
- Trailhead Campus Portal: Activate this account to
access a variety of administrative and academic services such as your schedule, registration, drop/add, grades, bills,
calendar, Blackboard, and other campus services. Go to
http://newuser.mines.edu/trailhead/
- ADIT (MS Windows Domain): Activate this account to
use classroom, lab & desktop machines around campus including most academic departments.

Faculty & Staff
Faculty & Staff should activate the following four accounts:
- ADIT (MS Windows Domain): Activate this to use classroom,
lab & desktop machines around campus including most academic departments.

- E-Mail Account: To request that your Mines E-Mail account be
activated go to http://helpdesk.mines.edu/exchange.shtml
Your ADIT account must be activated in Step 1 before your e-mail account can be activated.
- Trailhead Campus Portal: Activate this account to access a
variety of administrative and academic services such as your pay stubs, benefits, course rosters, grades, calendar, Blackboard, and other campus
services. Go to http://newuser.mines.edu/trailhead/
- (Optional) MultiPass: Activate
this account to access Unix/Linux accounts and other services managed via the campus Unix authentication server. (E.g., Linix domains/labs in Physics,
MACS, Geophysics; personal web page editing; campus VPN services; etc.)
